Most "pet supply" stores are really just warehouses with a logo slapped on the front — the same mass-produced gear you'll find on a dozen other sites, at a markup, with none of the thought put into whether it actually holds up to a real dog, a real cat, or a real Tuesday afternoon.
Proud Pet Shop started with a simple frustration: we couldn't find gear that felt like it was made by people who actually own pets. So we decided to build the store we wished existed — one product category at a time, each one chosen, tested, and refined before it ever made it onto the site.
